Telemedicine Doctor

At Sports Health Northwest, we are happy to offer telemedicine visits for our patients. Avoid the hassles of driving like waiting in traffic, wasting gas, and getting frustrated with other drivers.  We can perform telemedicine visits for new patients as well as our established patients.  Technology allows us to utilize smartphones in a manner similar to FaceTime to utilize secure and encrypted virtual visits for our patients. While virtual visits have limitations because the physical exam is very minimal,  and connecting with your doctor through a screen isn't the same as being face to face when it comes to other forms of communication like non-verbal communication,  they can be useful as a means to answer questions about a particular injury, discuss a diagnosis, review medication effect, review labs, or look at relevant imaging.  

There are many reasons why going to the doctor's office can be challenging and why someone might prefer a telemedicine appointment. A few of these include working from home, caring for a loved one, transportation costs, and feeling under the weather. Fortunately, insurances cover telemedicine appointments.
